Steps

  1. How much does it cost? Sending a document costs 12 credits. Submitting a deal and accepting one from a partner cost no credits.
  2. Who signs first? By default your company signs first, then the other side. On your own PDF you can choose "They sign first, you countersign".
  3. Where is the signed copy? Open Sent for signature. When the row says Signed by everyone, choose Download signed.
  4. Where is the proof? Choose Signing record on the row for a one-page PDF. The Download signed ZIP also holds the signed document and the Audit Trail.
  5. The row says Not sent. That means the document was started but never sent. You can open it with View document, or remove it with Discard. Signature status on rows that were sent is checked on a schedule, so it can lag a signature by a few minutes.
  6. I need new wording. Use Replace PDF on the template row, or upload the new paper as your own PDF. Documents written in the old editor can no longer be edited or approved.
  7. Can I upload a scanned paper? Not yet. A scan with no readable text is refused with "This PDF has no readable text." Upload the digital copy, or save your Word file as PDF.
  8. Can I add, move or remove a signature spot? Not in the app. Where each person signs comes from your PDF. Fix the PDF and upload it again, or use Replace PDF on a saved document.
  9. What happens to my old-style documents? They stop being sendable on 30 November 2026. Before then, download each as a PDF and upload it as your own PDF. Anything already out for signature finishes as it started, and signed copies stay where they are.
