A Letter of Intent (LOI) tells the seller what you intend to offer. It is signed by your company and then by the seller.
Why it matters
A signed LOI shows the seller you are serious and records the terms you both agreed on.
Steps
- In the calculator, choose Send LOI. The "Send Letter of Intent" window opens.
- Under "Which Letter of Intent to send", choose the one you want. Nothing is chosen for you.
- Check the price. It comes from your calculator and shows as a highlighted value. Click it to change it.
- Fill in the other boxes. The closing date is plain text and prints exactly as you type it, so write it the way you want it to read.
- Check who signs, and enter the seller's name and email.
- Choose Send for signature. It costs 12 credits.
- Open Sent for signature. When it says Signed by everyone, choose Download signed.
Good to know
- Your company signer shows as your company name and your name.
